I have over 35 years of restaurant and teaching experiences combined to provide a wide range of possible training that I bring to the classroom. I have brought in a ServSafe employee training program that leads to a National Restaurant Association certificate, we train two times a week at the Low Country Food Bank, do lunches and special catering in my Introduction to Culinary Arts, Culinary Arts I, and Culinary Arts II classes.  

     In the
2013-2014 school year we won first place in the Low Country Food  Bank's student can food drive for the small school division.

     This year we won 2nd place in the Food Banks social media contest and will do a super market sweep in a Food Lion.

      I am from Western Pennsylvania, went to the University of Pittsburgh, and am a real Pittsburgh Steeler's fan.
